My client is a family run Interflora florist based in Harlow, with over 20 years experience of showcasing floral designs for weddings, funerals, events and everyday shop floristry. As a business they work closely with customers to bring their vision to life and create beautiful arrangements for special occasions.
The successful candidate must be a qualified florist with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, experience of working in a fast-paced environment coupled with at least 2 years floristry experience. The team as lots of energy and genuine enthusiasm as well as a love for flowers and plants.

Responsibilities:
You will need to work independently and alongside our other florists. You will also be required to support the day-to-day running of the shop.
Create inspirational bouquets of your choice as well as following Interfloras bouquet guide.
Prepare bouquets for delivery and collection.
Conditioning flowers and packaging bouquets.
Stock management including watering and care of flowers and plants.
You will be required to serve customers by email, telephone and in-store.
Managing ordersin the lead-up to peak seasons, such as, Christmas, Valentines, Mothering Sunday etc. We also offer additional hours during our peak and busy times.
Providing excellent customer service by engaging pro-actively with customers and promoting the highest standards of customer care and service.
Advising customers on flower and plant choice as well as creating bespoke bouquets.
Experience and skills required:
Level 2/3 qualified and experienced florist.
Passionate about flowers and plants with a good understanding of flower and plant varieties, seasonal flowers, flower care and preparation.
Knowledge of different types of floral and plant design techniques.
A can-do attitude and hands-on approach to resolving issues as and when they arise.
Supportive of your colleagues and able towork under pressure to meet delivery deadlines.
Must be computer literate with excellent customer service skills.
Be confident in a client facing role and having a fulldrivers licence is desirable but not essential.
Job type: Part Time role working 16 to 20 hours a week over 4 to 5 days including Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm.
Salary: £13 per hour plus an opportunity for extra hours during busy periods.
